What You'll Do:
- Provide strategic leadership and daily oversight of clinical operations to ensure exceptional resident care.
- Supervise, coach, and support the nursing team—including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs—to maintain high standards of performance and resident support.
- Conduct and oversee comprehensive resident assessments, care plan development, medication administration processes, and ongoing health monitoring.
- Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as internal clinical policies and procedures.
- Act as the primary clinical point of contact for residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary partners.
- Review and maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
- Lead quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives; participate in internal audits, inspections, and state surveys.
- Provide on-call leadership for clinical concerns, urgent needs, or changes in resident condition.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff; drive professional development, team retention, and continuous skills advancement.
- Collaborate with other departments to support holistic, resident-centered care across the community.
- Ensure effective infection control practices and maintain a safe, clean, and sanitary environment.
- Perform additional duties as required to support residents and ensure smooth clinical operations.
What You'll Need:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice; compact licensure accepted when applicable
- Must be 21 years or older
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Previous clinical leadership experience required; long-term care, assisted living, or similar setting strongly preferred
- Demonstrated communication, leadership, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to meet physical demands, including standing, walking, lifting, and assisting residents in a fast-paced care environment
